If you are taking on a big job, we realise how valuable your time is. One of our timber centre's unique features is our timber machining service. We can cut, mold, rebate, bevel, plane, thickness, join, dock, re-saw or do almost anything you can think of to the quality timber we sell. Our specialty is "hard-to-do" jobs that can help make your project much easier to complete. No job is too large or too small.
Special orders are something that we excel in. If you need timber or material that are not readily available or a special run of timber products, our team of timber experts will track it down for you.
Some of the specific services we provide are:
- Full timber machining service available on Timber bought from Fagg's
- Chipboard and ply cut to size
- Structural timber cut to specific sizes, or cut to convenient sizes for transport
- Decorative timber cut to size and dressed
- All kinds of shelving and panelling
MOULDING
This traditional craft is perpetuated by the dedicated staff of Fagg's Mitre 10. Our very experienced staff are equally accomplished in the skill of producing mouldings from architects' designs or reproducing the pattern of existing features such as Skirting Boards and Picture Rails. A steel template of each moulding cutter is retained in case you need more. (We also have many standard mouldings in stock at all times)

Even when you are involved in the specialised area of property restoration, Fagg's Mitre 10 is still your one stop shop for all your timber needs and technical advice. Builders, architects and interior designers all testify to our capabilities and knowledge. We can supply everything you need for the replacement or repair of structural timber and architectural features - all expertly profiled to match the original style.
SPECIAL COMMISSION
We can also help with the production of intricate and individual items. Recent projects undertaken by the craftsmen in our specialist workshop include stair treads for RMIT, the Eureka Hotel and St. Josephs College; custom cutting, thicknessing and rebating of the timber for the re-cladding of a local historical residence; the Skirting boards and Architraves for many local buildings of historical significance including Le Parisien, Brougham by the Bay (formerly the Port of Geelong building), the Wild West Saloon, Jokers on Ryrie and Craigs Hotel in Ballarat;and a range of shop fittings for a retail outlet.
